Johnson Guy Associates was founded in the latter part of 2001 as a partnership between Ian Johnson and Tom Guy. They crossed paths working together on ground breaking projects for E-comeleon and JoeKnowIt, both winners of the prestigious Internet development of the year in the North East Business Awards.
With a mutual interest in digital media, complimentary expertise and a realisation of the potential of the Internet, the formation of jg.a seemed obvious.
Ian Johnson is from a design and print background. He combines an incredible eye for detail with his vast knowledge of digital technologies to successfully grow client brands in the fast changing world of the Internet and social media. With jg.a he has project managed many large projects across multiple disciplines, coordinating teams from around the world.
Tom Guy has been involved in the development of Internet based applications since the early days of the browser in 1992. He has applied his formal training to projects in both the public and private sector. Working in partnership with the NHS he developed the first national online health promotion catalogue launched in 2001 by Alan Milburn MP. He has worked on major European projects collaborating with software development teams from Germany and Italy.
With his wealth of experience and knowledge Tom brings to the jg.a team specialist skills in systems analysis, project management, database design, server configuration, software design and programming.
Together Ian and Tom lead a small team of developers and designers that have successfully delivered projects large and small on behalf of their clients.
